Pedro Lopez speaks on Puelle suspension

BINGHAMTON -- The B-Mets returned home Tuesday for the first time since Cesar Puello's suspension was announced.

Manager Pedro Lopez spoke in the afternoon and issued a statement he received from the Mets organization, saying, "The Mets have, and continue to support, Major League Baseball's Joint Drug Testing Program."

The skipper went on to add, "It's hard. I really have to be honest with you guys. It's the first time that I've ever had to go through something like this and I'm nervous. It's really touchy and it's hard, so we've just got to move forward."

The B-Mets and Curve played a doubleheader on Tuesday.
