Agreement on Town of Union Block Grants

In the Town of Union, Wednesday night there was harmony, at least in terms of what to do with those CDBG's.
 
Those are the Community Development Block Grants which provide federal money to municipalities for various projects.

Town Supervisor Rose Sotak says their is more than $1.1 million to be spent.

"Goes into a lot of our wonderful organizations within the town that do so much for our youth, for our agent population, so it's a great benefit also under the program we do a lot for our roads and our park improvement," said Rose Sotak, the Town of Union Supervisor

Supervisor Rose Sotak says there was no resistance to the choices made in allocating the money and a committee is ironing out the details.
