B-Mets struggle in Eastern League All Star Game

NEW BRITAIN, CT -- It's fitting that the Eastern League All Star Game started late due to a rain delay. Weather is something that affected the B-Mets tremendously over the past few weeks.

It was a tough night for your Binghamton representatives. Josh Rodriguez, Allan Dykstra and Cesar Puello, all of whom started for the East Team, all went 0-2 at the plate.

Logan Verrett gave up a pair of runs in the fourth inning, and Jeff Walters pitched a perfect ninth.

The East Team lost to the West, 5-0.

The B-Mets return home on Thursday to open a series against Portland.
