John DeSisti Not Competent to Stand Trial

John Desisti, the 75 year old Bradford County man charged with the double homicide of his cousin and her husband is not competent to stand trial.

Bradford County Senior Judge David Grine made the ruling on Friday.

That followed arguments by John DeSisti's Defense Attorneys that DeSisti has dementia, and the condition is worsening.

DeSisti is accused in the shotgun slayings of his cousin, Carol Keefe, and her attorney husband,  David Keefe.

DeSisti's lawyers say he has only months to live. He'll remain in custody until he might be found competent to stand trial again.
