Anti-Frackers Head to Albany Monday

BINGHAMTON -- The battle continues between pro and anti-frackers.

Local groups opposed to fracking will be boarding buses to Albany Monday morning for an anti-fracking and pro-renewable energy rally.  The ralliers will urge Governor Cuomo to ban fracking.  Some residents say it's a message the Governor needs to hear-- while others disagree.

"New York could be fully on renewable energy by 2030, if we have the political leadership.  We're really calling on Governor Cuomo to be that leader," said Isaac Silberman-Gorn of Binghamton.

"We're all tired of watching these people go up there and give their opinion based on science fiction," said Vic Furman of the Joint Landowner's Coalition.

Vic Furman tells us a group of local landowners will also head up to Albany to show their support for fracking.
