Suspects Arrested for Armed Robbery of a Convenient Store

BINGHAMTON -- Two Binghamton men have been arrested for allegedly using a knife to rob a convenient store.

28-year-old Scott Frost and 22-year-old Arianna Michaelski were arrested by New York State Police Friday.  Police say the pair robbed the Xtra-Mart at 205 Main Street in the Town of Afton at about 2 a.m. on June 13.  The two suspects reportedly stole property and cash before fleeing the store. 

Police caught the pair at the Super 8 Motel in Kirkwood.  At the scene, police also arrested 25-year-old Shane J. Jasak and 23-year-old Emily A Shaver-- both charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument. 

Frost was also charged with criminal posession of a weapon.  Jasak and Shaver were remanded to Broome County Jail on $1000 dollars bail.  Frost was remanded to Chenango County Jail without bail and Michaelski was remanded to Chenango County Jail in lieu of $25,000 dollars bail.  The investigation is ongoing.
