Seton Softball prepares for dominant Sandy Creek

BINGHAMTON -- The Class C Regional Playoffs are Tuesday, June 4. The Seton Catholic Baseball and Softball teams will both be playing.

For the ladies, it's a tall task. They draw Section III champ Sandy Creek, who has won 13 straight Class C titles and has a 21-1 record.

Even though the Comets have an impressive resume, Saints Head Coach Chris Sinicki is not worried. He has faith in his girls because they have plenty of experience against high-quality opponents.

Regarding Section IV competition, Sinicki said, "We'd like to think that it gives us an edge. In our league there's never a game that's an easy game. We've seen just about everything you can see in an 18, 19, 20 game schedule so we feel as prepared as we can possibly be."

Game time is 5:00 PM at BAGSAI.
