Siena Poll: Voters think more gov't corruption arrests likely

ALBANY -- Governor Cuomo says New York State government is working again, and a new Siena Poll shows that half of voters agree with him.

But, when asked how they felt about state government in light of corruption scandals and arrests, two thirds of those surveyed said the government is becoming more dysfunctional every day.  Also, 88% of voters now believe that more arrests of legislators are coming.

Pollster Steven Greenburg says the data shows that voters are not blaming the governor for the recent ourburst of legislative corruption headlines, but it's clear they want the governor and the legislature to address the issue before the session ends next month.
