M-E's Hatala to attend Siena, BHS' Rose to Fairfield

ENDWELL -- The last couple months of high school just got a lot easier for Maine-Endwell's Bryant Hatala. The senior signed his National Letter of Intent Thursday to join the Siena College Cross Country team.

He has won the XC Sectionals for the past three years. The decision goes beyond athletics. It's the school's well-rounded program that made it an easy choice for the Spartan.

"Their bio program is really good. That's what I'm going to be majoring in. I got along with the team really well. They're very friendly. They're a fun group of guys. They're really competitive," said Hatala.

In other signing news, Binghamton High School's KJ Rose signed on to play basketball at Fairfield.
