Detail: The Triple Cities Ski Club (TCSC) will hold its 34th Annual Ski Sale on Sunday, November 23 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Brothers 2, 2901 Watson Blvd., Endwell, NY. The sale is open to the public and gives sports enthusiasts an opportunity to buy and sell downhill and cross-country skis, boots, poles, bindings, clothing, plus snowboarding, skating, hockey, camping, biking and other equipment. In addition to used equipment, ski shops and vendors from ski resorts will be selling equipment and clothing at discounted prices. Drop off times for items to sell are Saturday, November 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. and 8 to 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 23. Sale items must be brought to Brothers 2 (Banquet Room) at the designated times. The registration fee is 50 cents per item and 20% commission for items sold. Pickup times after the sale are Sunday, 4:30 to 6 p.m. following the sale and Monday, November 24 from 4 to 6 p.m. Sellers can check online during the sale to see if items have sold. The soloists will be Ghislaine Stewart (Soprano), Hilerie Klein-Rinsi (Alto), James Gleason (Tenor), and Randolph Messing (Bass). The conductor is Fitzroy Stewart, and a free-will offering is encouraged.

Detail: The Madrigal Choir of Binghamton presents Lessons and Carols for Chrismas on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 7:30pm and Sunday, Nov. 30 at 3pm in the Church of the Holy Trinity. Guest artists will be Peter Browne, organist, and Simple Gifts, recorder/guitar duo. Dr. Bruce Borton, artistic director, will lead the 50-voice choir in a program of seasonal music and readings. This program has been a pleasant way to begin the holiday season for a number of years. The audience will participate in carol singing, and choir members will have solos and ensembles. This concert is the second of the season called..and so we sing! The Christmas season provides lots of choices for singing. Come and hear which ones are chosen this season.
