Detail: Learn about the different types of telescopes and what objects are best viewed through them. If you have a telescope, bring it to Kopernik, no matter what condition it is in, and receive a lesson on assembling and using it from a member of the Kopernik Astronomical Society. Use your telescope or Kopernik's telescopes to see a crescent moon (May 22) or nearly full moon (May 29) as well as Saturn and summer deep sky objects such as the Ring Nebula.

Detail: This course provides an overview of forensic and medicolegal issues as they relate to the investigation of an individual's death. Content includes how deaths are investigated in the United States, postmortem changes, common injury patterns and findings, cause and manner of death, special types of death investigations, and working with families. There are no prerequisites to register, and completion of the course will grant students 30 hours of continuing education accredited by the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators (AMBDI). Binghamton University's Decker School of Nursing (OH-340, 3/1/2016) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
