Seacrest told Jordin Sparks that she was safe. After another commercial break, Seacrest told Melinda Doolittle that she was also safe. The final two up for elimination came down to Lakisha Jones and Blake Lewis. Simon Cowell predicted that Lakisha was going home. Seacrest revealed that after 45 million votes, Blake Lewis was safe and Lakisha Jones was going home.
