Chenery's Heroics Lifts Bearcats Past UAlbany

The Binghamton men's basketball team earned a thrilling road win over UAlbany, 65-61, Saturday night.
With the game tied at 61, Binghamton's Tymu Chenery scored a driving layup to give the Bearcats the lead with 10.8 seconds remaining. UAlbany had a chance to tie or win the game but the Great Danes turned the ball over in the final seconds. BU's Nehemiah Benson made two free throws to clinch the victory for Binghamton.
Chenery finished the game with 12 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Gavin Walsh logged another double-double for the Bearcats with 15 points and 15 rebounds. Benson scored a team-high 16 points.
Binghamton improves to 11-12 overall and 3-5 in America East play. The Bearcats host UMass-Lowell Thursday night with tip-off set for 6:07 p.m. at the Events Center.
