An Endicott battery manufacturer has filed for bankruptcy.

According to the United States Bankruptcy Court District of Delaware website, iM3NY filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Monday.

The company made lithium-ion batteries for use in electric cars and other clean-energy powered vehicles and items.

In April of 2021, the company announced that they had enough funding to begin operating Endicott in the Huron Campus.

In August 2023, iM3NY was one of two local businesses to receive a statewide award from Binghamton University's Small Business Development Center.
