Man Gets Prison Sentence for Thanksgiving 2022 Fatal Crash

A 20-year-old man has pleaded guilty to a manslaughter charge stemming from a fatal crash on Thanksgiving 2022 that claimed the life of a teenager.
According to the Otsego County District Attorney, Adem Berjasevic pleaded guilty to the charge of Manslaughter in the 2nd degree. He was sentenced to 1.5 to 4.5 years in state prison.
On November 24, 2022 Berjasevic was operating a motor vehicle at speeds of 90 MPH in a 30 MPH zone, lost control of his vehicle, and hit a chain-link fence. A passenger in Berjasevic's vehicle, Kadin Abdullah lost his life in the crash.
