A Sherburne man is charged after the Chenango County Sheriff's Office says he violated conditions of an Order of Protection.

According to the sheriff's office, members of the office and NYS Parole officers conducted a home visit at the home of Randall C. Harmon. During the visit, a female was found to be in the residence. The office says this woman was not allowed to be around Harmon's child or in the home of the child. The child in question was inside the residence at the time.

Additionally, a white substance that later tested positive for methamphetamine was found. Harmon was arrested and taken to the sheriff's office for processing. He was charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Once he was processed, Harmon was remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on an active Parole warrant.
