A Town of Otselic woman has been arrested in connection with an investigation into a case of stolen property.

According to the Chenango County Sheriff's Office, in April 2024, the office was alerted to a complaint that items had been stolen from a property in the Town of Plymouth. Following the investigation by the office's Detective Division, the case was presented to a county grand jury and an indictment was handed down to Natasha Meeks of Otselic.

Meeks was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 3rd degree, Tampering With Physical Evidence, and Criminal Mischief in the 3rd degree. An arrest warrant was issued after the indictment.

The office says Meeks turned herself in to detectives on January 7th following the indictment. She was processed, arraigned, and released on her own recognizance. Meeks is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
