Sidney Man Facing Grand Larceny Charge
A Sidney man is facing additional charges after he was arrested last year on charges stemming from an identity theft investigation.
According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, Matthew Walsh was arrested on January 14th on a warrant for the charge of Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree. Walsh was arraigned and released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
Walsh was one of three people charged last year after a months-long investigation into reports of fraud, forgery, and identity theft. At that time, he was charged with one count of Forgery in the 1st degree, one count of Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 1st degree, Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree, Identity Theft in the 1st degree, Grand Larceny in the 4th degree, Conspiracy in the 4th degree, and Criminal Impersonation of Another Person with Intent to Defraud.
