Binghamton Residents Facing Weapon Charges

Two people are facing charges after a search warrant was executed in the City of Binghamton earlier this week.
According to the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force, the warrant was executed on Monday, January 13th at 10 Felters Road, Apartment L2. An illegally possessed and loaded .380-caliber handgun was found.
As a result, Xavier J. Tappan-Bright and Monica R. Cornibert were both arrested and charged. Both were charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Firearm. In addition, Tappan-Bright was also charged with one count each of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd and 3rd degrees.
