Binghamton Drops Road Game at Marist to Finish Non-Conference Play
The Binghamton men's basketball team suffered a 69-51 defeat at Marist Sunday afternoon.
The Bearcats held a four-point lead at halftime but shot just 30.5% from the field and did not make a three-pointer after halftime in the loss.
Ben Callahan-Gold led Binghamton in scoring with 10 points off the bench while Gavin Walsh chipped in nine points and 11 rebounds while Tymu Chenery logged nine points and five assists.
Marist's Elijah Lewis led all scorers with 21 points.
The loss was Binghamton's first defeat in the month of December during the 2024-2025 season and it snapped a six-game winning streak for the Bearcats. BU finishes non-conference play with an 8-7 record. The Bearcats open America East play next Saturday (1/4) when Binghamton plays host to UMBC.
