Endicott Man To Get Eight Years on Gun Charge

An Endicott man pleaded guilty to a felony gun charge on Friday, November 15, 2024, in Broome County Court, according to the Broome County District Attorney's Office.
Eighteen-year-old Quamir Hazel was found with a loaded Glock 9mm firearm in the Town of Vestal on August 16, 2024. He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.
After a routine traffic stop at the intersection of Vestal Parkway East and Jensen Rd., police found the firearm under the driver’s seat in a black sling bag.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on February 14, 2025.
