Over $1 million is awarded to Delaware Opportunities for Head Start programming.

Representative Marc Molinaro made the announcement Thursday morning that $1,381,584 would be going to Delaware Opportunities. The money comes from the Head Start and Early Head Start programs, and are administered by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The money will be used to aid in early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to start children from low-income families.

In addition to Delaware Opportunities, Cortland County Community Action Program received $3.1 million.
