Binghamton Athletics announced on Monday that they have named Paul Caceres as its new women's tennis coach.

Caceres succeeds previous coach Libby McGovern who stepped away from coaching in April.

Caceres comes to Binghamton with familiarity with the Northeast Conference after coaching at FDU for the previous six years as an assistant coach for both the men's and women's programs.

During his time at FDU Caceres would have 25 all-conference accolades and eight All-Rookie selections.

Caceres is a Hall of Fame former collegiate tennis standout from his success as a captain at the University of the Sciences (Philadelphia). During that time, he led the team to the NCAA Division II Regionals in 2009 and has the program records for singles and doubles wins.

Binghamton finished the 2023-24 season with a 1-19 record overall and 1-6 in conference.
