A man is in critical condition after a motorcycle crash this morning in Binghamton.

Binghamton Police say they responded to Rollins and Parsons street at 9:30 A.M. for a report of a motorcycle into a house.

Officers located a 59-year-old man on the lawn of 7 Rollins Street.

An investigation determined that the man was driving a 2024 XPro moped east on Parson's Street at a high rate of speed. Authorities say he was unable to make the turn at Parson and Rollins Street and collided with the curb, bank, and concrete retaining wall of the residence.

The man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, and did not have a New York State motorcycle license. The moped was also unregistered with what appeared to be a stolen license plate.

This is an on-going investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Binghamton Police Department.
