A Binghamton man is charged after drugs and paraphernalia were found in a Kirkwood apartment in June.

According to the Vestal Police Department, members of the department's Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at an apartment at 933 US-11, along with state police, on June 21st. Police say numerous types of narcotics, packaging, and scales consistent with the sale of narcotics, were found.

As a result, Joseph D. Santi was arrested and charged. He was on parole for prior drug offenses at the time of the arrest. Santi was charged with the following:

  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree
  • Tampering with Physical Evidence in the 2nd degree
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree
  • Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree
  • 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree
