Over 300 strong turned out to the Kattelville Athletic Association last night to support the battle of a dear friend.

The event, which featured a chicken barbecue alongside games and raffles, was to raise funds for Traci Oross' cancer battle.

After Oross received her diagnosis in Feburary of last year, friends and family rallied around their loved one to provide both emotional and fiscal support to her during this hard time.

While she never planned to be the center of such a big event, Oross expressed what all this support means to her.

"It's absolutely everything." Oross said. "It's humbling. It's life changing realistically. uou know you have a lot of friends and you just don't know what they're all willing to do for you until you need them. And my friends and family have really come together so it's really humbling."

Oross' family says any cent helps. If you want to give, donations can be sent to @Tammy-France-2 on Venmo.
