A Binghamton man is facing a couple charges after state police say he robbed a gas station last weekend.

According to state police, Kevin C. Carter, Jr. robbed a Union Speedway just before 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 11th. Carter initially made a purchase, but when the register was open, he reached over the counter and took money.

Police say he left his wallet with his ID on the counter during the robbery. Carter was found on Hooper Road. He was in possession of metal knuckles at the time of his arrest.

Carter was charged with Robbery in the 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree.
