Police Investigating After Separate Reports of Shots Fired in Endicott
The Endicott Police Department is investigating after reports of shots fired hours apart from each other Wednesday night on Monroe Street.
According to Endicott Police, the first report of shots fired into a vehicle came in at 8:26 p.m. and officers responded to 1000 Monroe Street.
Police say individuals acquainted with each other were arguing online and agreed to meet near 1000 Monroe Street. One vehicle was struck by gunfire, but no injuries were reported and all parties fled.
Police were able to find the vehicle, but say the victims are uncooperative at this time.
Approximately three and a half hours later, at 12:01 a.m., there was another report of shots fired in the same area, shortly after police had cleared the scene of the first incident.
This time, a single gunshot was heard. Police again responded and found numerous subjects congregated in the area, and again, they were uncooperative.
