The Ponies are now 9-2 in their last 11 games after a 4-2 final in their second game against Harrisburg.

Luis Moreno was on the bump for the Ponies, going 5.2 innings, giving up two runs while striking out nine. Paul Gervase and Daison Acosta finished out the final 3.1 innings, giving up just one hit.

The Senators scored one off a double in the third to start the scoring.

In the fifth, the Ponies jumped ahead off of a JT Schwartz liner, bringing in Rhylan Thomas and Luisangel Acuna. It didn't take long for the away side to tie it up as James Woods scored off of a Frankie Tostado single in the top of the sixth.

The two were deadlocked at two until the eighth inning when Bingo loaded the bases with a single and a pair of walks. That's when Thomas made it three straight walks to score a run and take the lead. The Ponies added to the lead with a Luisangel Acuna sac fly, making it a 4-2 ballgame.

In the ninth, the Senators picked up a single, but couldn't eat into the lead, dropping their second straight on the road.

With the Portland Sea Dogs' loss, Binghamton now has a three-game lead on the final playoff spot.
