Tioga Chamber of Commerce Hosts 19th Annual Golf Tournament
People teed off at Catatonk Golf Course in Candor for the 19th Annual Tioga Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament.
In addition to golf, there were raffles, games and a shootout prize of $25,000.
Today's event was Hawaiian themed.
"I actually lived in Hawaii for five years, so I wanted to do an Aloha theme," said President and CEO of the Chamber, Sabrina Henriques. "Of course, Aloha stands for family. It stands for being together. And so we thought this would be a great theme. So we I particularly and grass skirts, everyone is in their Hawaiian Aloha shirts. We're going to have a contest later on today. And it just really is about the Aloha Ohana family way."
Today was also about bringing businesses and people together and building connections.
"It really is just about getting together, seeing businesses as you have not necessarily been able to see for a while and just having a great day, taking your staff out to enjoy it, you know, some team building. And so that's really what today is about."
