Binghamton Man Pleads Guilty to Robbing Man at Knifepoint

A Binghamton man pleaded guilty to Robbery in the 1st degree after he forcibly stole property last August.
According to the Broome County District Attorney, Robert W. Simpson admitted on August 14, 2022 at about 1 a.m. in the area of Deforest and Chenango Streets, he stole property from another male at knifepoint.
He will be sentenced to state prison in August. He faces eight to 10 years.
Simpson has been previously convicted of Burglary and Conspiracy.
