KLAW Industries won $50,000 as one of three winners in the FuzeHub Advanced Materials Innovation Challenge.

The challenge involved New York innovators to submit projects that would have greater sustainability in their manufacturing process.

KLAW Industries' winning project involved expanding the company's manufacturing and logistics capabilities to use high-performance, low-carbon concrete in projects across upstate New York and reduce the carbon impact of the state's concrete infrastructure.

The money comes from the Jeff Lawrence Innovation Fund and will support cutting-edge developments in materials science.
