BU Women's Lacrosse Takes Down Cornell For First Time Ever

For the first time ever, Binghamton University women's lacrosse has taken down Cornell after a 13-12 win.
The Bearcats held Big Red scoreless over the final nine minutes to get BU's fifth win of the year. This is only Cornell's second loss of the year.
Abigail Carroll scored five goals and an assist, the sophomore now leads the team with 23 goals on the year. Hayley Weltner and Marisa Tancredi scored three goals apiece.
Binghamton begins its conference season this Saturday at home at noon. The Bearcats are 5-4, the same nonconference record they accrued last year.
