A Putnam County woman pleaded guilty to one count of Driving While Intoxicated in Delaware County.

According to the Delaware County District Attorney, Leigh F. Murray admitted she was driving over the legal speed limit on State Highway 17 in the Town of Hancock after consuming two to three vodkas in November 2022.

Murray is expected to be sentenced to 6 months of incarceration and 5 years of probation supervision. During the probation supervision, she will not be allowed to consume alcohol and must engage in any recommended substance abuse treatment, according to the district attorney.
