Binghamton University Sending Three Wrestlers to NCAA Tournament

The NCAA Men's DI Wrestling tournament seeding was released over the weekend, and three Binghamton Wrestling team members will be headed to compete in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Jacob Nolan, a redshirt junior will be making his 3rd consecutive trip to the NCAA championships, this time as the No. 19 seed at 184 pounds. Hhe enters the tournament with a 20-7 record, taking on the No. 14 seed Will Feldkamp (Clarion) in the 1st round.
Cory Day, also a redshirt junior but first-time NCAA qualifier, was named the No. 26 seed in the Heavyweight class. He will be wrestling North Carolina State's Owen Trephan, with a 21-3 record. The two met earlier this season in January, with Trephan winning 11-0 in a major decision.
Lastly, Brevin Cassella, a Sophomore, will be the No. 26 seed at 165 pounds. He's set to take on North Dakota State's Michael Caliendo (23-3). Caliendo is the No. 7 seed after finishing 3rd at the Big 12 Championships.
The first round is slated to begin March 17th.
