A man who stole money from an Endicott laundromat two years ago will spend at least two years in state prison.

According to the Broome County District Attorney, Matthew S. Gleason of Endicott pleaded guilty to Attempted Burglary in the 3rd degree.

Gleason admitted in April 2021, he entered the Super X Launderette and stole money from the coin machine. He had already been prohibited from entering the laundromat by staff after tampering with the machines.

Gleason will be sentenced to 2 to 4 years in state prison in May. He was previously convicted of Attempted Assault in the 2nd degree in 2016.
