The Delaware County Sheriff's Office announces arrests in the county for various infractions.
According to the sheriff's office, Irina Irimescu of Hancock was arrested after it was discovered she had an active Delaware County Family Court warrant for her arrest.
The discovery came while deputies were conducting an eviction at a Hancock residence.
Irimescu is scheduled to appear in Family Court at a later date.
A Queens woman surrendered on an active arrest warrant issued by the Delaware Family Court.
Jessica Arnott was arrested on the warrant and charged with violations of Article 10 of the Family Court Act.
The sheriff's office says Amber Astrologo of Sidney was arrested and charged after a one-vehicle crash on County Highway 44.
A check of Astrologo's license revealed it was suspended due to her insurance not being in effect.
Astrologo was charged with one count of Aggravated Unlicensed Operator in the 3rd degree, Unlicensed Operator and Speed not Reasonable and Prudent.
She is scheduled to appear in court at a later time.
The sheriff's office says a Burdett man was arrested and charged after a traffic stop in the Town of Hamden.
During the stop, it was revealed that Ian Barry's vehicle registration was suspended due to a lapse of insurance.
Barry was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended/Revoked Registration and Obstructed Plate
A Hilton man was arrested and charged after he was discovered driving with a suspended license.
Jaden Whitfield was seen driving 86 MPH in a 55 MPH zone on State Highway 206.
During the ensuing stop, it was discovered Whitfield's driving privileges were suspended in the state of New York.
He was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd degree, Failing to Surrender NYS License to DMV, Unlicensed Operator, Speed in 55 mph zone, Obstructed View, and Obstructed License Plate.
