Several people were arrested and charged for various incidents occurring in Tioga County, according to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office.

A prisoner in the Tioga County Jail is facing charges after the sheriff's office says he injured another prisoner.

Kole A. Rose of Berkshire, NY was charged with Assault in the 2nd degree after the office says a physical altercation between Rose and another inmate, during which, the other inmate was injured.

The office did not specify the extent of the injuries.

Marice A. Bell of Apalachin was arrested and charged after an investigation into a child abuse complaint.

Bell was charged with Assault in the 2nd degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

The office says Bell is accused of causing physical injury to a child under the age of seven years old.

He will appear in court at a later date.

Joseph A. Calla and Samuel J. Pierce were both charged after a vehicle larceny from a driveway.

The office says Calla and Pierce became involved in a police pursuit after taking the vehicle.

Both were charged with Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree, Burglary in the 3rd degree, two counts of Criminal Mischief in the 2nd degree and Criminal Mischief in the 4th.

They are scheduled to appear in court January 18th.

Following a disturbance in the Town of Tioga, Ian D. Webster was charged with Burglary in the 2nd degree, Criminal Mischief in the 2nd degree, Resisting Arrest and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree.

Lucas C. Corwin was arrested on a Family Court Arrest Warrant issued out of Tioga County Family Court. He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

Cole Duffek was arrested on an active bench warrant which resulted from the report of a suspicious person. He was arraigned and scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
