Two people from South Otselic are facing charges after a vehicle pursuit that began in Norwich and ended in Oxford.

According to the Chenango County Sheriff's Office, Kory W. Minshall and Samantha J. Clipston were arrested after the pursuit on November 17th.

Minshall was wanted on an active arrest warrant and he fled when police attempted to take him into custody.

The vehicle Minshall was operating became disabled in Oxford and Minshall fled from the vehicle on foot and was caught after a foot pursuit.

Minshall was charged with Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in the 3rd degree, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Governmental administration, Reckless endangerment in the 2nd degree, Criminal Mischief in the 3rd degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and an Arrest Warrant.

Clipston was also wanted on an active arrest warrant and the office says she was riding in the vehicle with Minshall during the chase.

The office says she threw parts of a rifle out the window during the pursuit. The parts were recovered.

Clipston was charged with Tampering With Physical Evidence and an Arrest Warrant.
