Binghamton Woman Sentenced for 2021 Arson
The Broome County District Attorney says a Binghamton woman has been sentenced for arson that occurred last fall.
Loretta Z. Washington, also known as Loretta Z. Holmes was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in state prison and two-and-a-half years of post release supervision after she pleaded guilty to felony Attempted Arson in the 2nd degree.
The district attorney says Washington set fire to a doormat at the Town and Country apartment complex in October 2021 after an argument with the people inside the apartment.
No one was injured in the fire.
