Protestors came together in downtown Binghamton to speak out against the multiple restaurants facing sexual assault allegations on Saturday night.

Binghamton residents gathered outside The Colonial at around 8:15 p.m. to protest and criticize the restaurant's owners' handling of several sexual assault allegations that came earlier this week via social media. The group also demonstrated outside the adjacent restaurant Dos Rios, and the Stone Fox which was down the street. They also walked to XTasy Lounge which was open. Binghamton Police closed off sections of Court and Hawley St.

On Friday, The Colonial had posted to its Facebook page that they would re-open, calling the accusations and allegations "baseless". This came after the establishment posted on Thursday that they would be closed until further notice, and were willing to cooperate in the investigation.
