Binghamton Loses Fourth Straight in Loss to Belleville

The Binghamton Devils let their fourth straight game slip away from them as they fell to the Belleville Senators 5-3. Both the first and second periods ended in ties, but the Senators put three more on the board in the third.
Just under five minutes into the third period, Jordan Murray fired a wrist shot during a 4-on-3 power play opportunity to make it a 3-2 game. Their next goal would not come until there was 8:14 remaining. Rodewald grabbed the pass while shorthanded and found the back of the net. The Devils fought for their third point with just under six to play. Lappin scored on a bouncing puck. Within the next two minutes, Nick Paul hit the sharp angle shot to give the Senators the two-goal lead again.
Two dollars from every ticket bought was donated to the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier. The MHAST received a $5700 check from the organization during the game.
The Binghamton Devils host the Utica Comets Saturday night at the Arena in their second game of the weekend.
