Binghamton, N.Y. - Chenango Forks needs to defeat Maine-Endwell on Saturday to grab their third consecutive Class B title. If the Blue Devils seal the deal with a victory it will be their seventh straight Section IV championship win.

Both these teams know the importance of making sure they'll playing a full sixty minutes of football and executing the big plays, especially on defense. The Spartans and Blue Devils went head to head two weeks ago where both defenses didn't let up a single point in the second half.

"One thing that both teams are good at is the big plays, so I think it's all going to come down to which defense can prevail I think. It's gonna be a battle of the wits" said Senior Nick Mugglin.

When you look at the numbers Chenango Forks leads in all phases. But, the Blue Devils of course know not to take this Spartans team lightly. Maine-Endwell held Forks to 24 points during the regular season, which was the fewest points Chenango Forks have scored all season. However, it was the Blue Devils who came up with the big plays at the end of the game that allowed them to shut the door on Maine-Endwell.

"We have to play hard if we want to beat this team. We can't slack off. We need to give it our all" said offensive guard, Ethan Trevett.

Chenango Forks and Maine-Endwell will play Saturday November 3 at Union-Endicott high school at 3 p.m.
