Binghamton, N.Y. -  On Monday, the Binghamton Devils announced that Jacob MacDonald signed a two-year, two-way deal deal with the Florida Panthers. Last season with the Binghamton Devils, the twenty-five year old led all AHL defensemen in goals (20) and points (55). MacDonald also ranked second in the league among defensemen with 183 shots on goal.

MacDonald joins a group on the blue line led by Josh Brown and will also include newcomer Riley Stillman after his OHL career. 

The Florida Panthers are based out of Sunrise Florida and are the affiliate of the Springfield Thunderbirds.
