Heroin Sales Investigation Leads to Tioga County Arrest

A Spencer man has been arrested for several drug charges, including criminal possession of heroin, after several police agencies executed a search warrant as a result of a joint investigation into heroin sales in Tioga County.
Richard M. Lawrence, 42, was arrested for Felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Misdemeanor Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia, and Misdemeanor Criminal Possession.
The New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, and Special Operations Response Team with assistance from Troop “C” Uniform Force, Waverly Police Department, Spencer Police Department, and Tioga County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at 163 Michigan Hollow Rd, Apartment 2 in the Town of Spencer, Tioga County.
As a result of the search warrant the following evidence was seized:
Approximately 18 grams of heroin, approximately 50 grams of marijuana, drug scale, packaging material consisting of rubber bands and 10 boxes of glassine envelopes, 28 Hydrocodone pills, 70 Alprazolam pills and approximately $4900 in cash.
Lawrence was arraigned before Town Justice Patrick Hogan, in the Town of Owego Court and remanded to Tioga County Jail without bail.
