Numerous Arrests in Stolen Property Bust in Johnson City

Several people have been arrested in connection with electrical supply burglary in Johnson City.
An investigation led by the Johnson City Police Department concerning the theft of thousands of dollars’ worth of electrical supplies at a storage facility has resulted in numerous arrests. The investigation revealed that a number of individuals were involved in returning large quantities of stolen copper to area scrap yards.
Police executed a search warrant at a residence on Endicott Ave. in Johnson City and recovered numerous items believed to be proceeds from this burglary.
Christopher D. Crawford, age 39 of Johnson City, was arrested after brief foot chase and charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property. Crawford was arraigned in village court and remanded to the Broome County Jail.
Police also charged the following individuals for Burglary:
Brandon P. Copp, age 20 of Johnson City, NY
Brandon H. Tripp, age 24 of Johnson City, NY
Dylan J. Lunn, age 21 of Johnson City, NY
David A. Seward, age 23 of Johnson City, NY
A 16 year old male of Johnson City, NY
The following individuals have been arrested for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property:
Kenny L. Copp, age 56 of Johnson City, NY
Tiffany L. Copp, age 25 of Johnson City, NY
Vesiree E. Copp, age 21 of Johnson City, NY
These individuals were released on an appearance ticket and schedule to appear in the village court at a later date.
These arrests occurred on December 1st and 2nd.
