The Binghamton Zoo's 140th year is coming to an end and they celebrated today with the start of half price admission.

For around 3 bucks, area residents can come out and visit with all of their favorite furry friends.

"Were trying to wrap up our 140th season and we like to offer these visitor appreciation days just as a thank you for supporting us throughout the season whether it's through volunteering, whether it's through donating, whether its just coming to the zoo. We appreciate all of the community support we have here," said Binghamton Zoo PR coordinator, Rachel Davenport.

From now until the end of the season the zoo will only be open on the weekends from 10am to 3pm with the gates closing at 4pm.

The weekend of November 28th will be your last chance to visit with the animals before the zoo closes it's gates for the season.
