Cortland police are looking for two african-american men who they say are armed and dangerous after committing an armed robbery late Tuesday night.


One of the suspects has been identified as 24 year old Clayton Shauquan Lawson. Police say Lawson and another man were armed with a small handgun and shotgun when they entered a home on South Avenue in the city of Cortland and demanded money. During the robbery the two men stole a cell phone from the residence. The second suspect is described as a tall thin black male wearing a black and white bandana with a dark colored hooded sweat shirt with the word "aero" on the front. anyone with information on this robbery is asked to call police at 758-8307.
