According to one local man,the heart isn't the only organ that needs love!

More than 200 people attended Derrick's Kidney Palooza -- a fundraiser for local resident Derrick Leuci, a man who suffers from end stage renal disease, a disease that attacks kidney function.

Saturday's event provided food, games, music and kidney health awareness information.

There was even a booth where people could sign up to become an organ donor.

"Kidney disease is dangerous. And it needs to be out there. And just in a fun positive way let's get it out there and learn about it," said organizer of Derrick's Kidney Palooza Amanda Lane .

More than 70 raffle baskets were donated from local businesses and the event raised more than $2,500.

The money will go toward Leuci's medical costs.
