BU Basketball Has Story Hour with Johnson City Students

Posted: Updated:

Johnson City Elementary School students red books and shared stories with the Binghamton University Men's Basketball team on Monday morning.

Members of the Bearcats shared stories from when they were younger, and what it means for them to be looked at as role models in the area.

"It means a lot cause you know when I was a kid we had some older guys come in and do that for me. I think just as a older guy, coming here and teaching them and trying to help them be successful like I was." Says Bearcats Freshman Guard Brenton Mills

Both the men's and women's team have been traveling around the area to participate in these meet and greets. Past school districts include Maine-Endwell and Binghamton.
