#7 Bulldogs Defeat In-State Rival #4 Stallions

Posted: Updated:

It's been a long time coming for the #7 ranked Binghamton Bulldogs to upset the favorited #4 ranked Syracuse Stallions, and tonight they did just that with a final score of 126-107. This was the 2nd time in a row that Binghamton has beaten Syracuse by double digits.

This was more than just a game to some, as two Binghamton natives, and former teammates, squared off. Chris Cartwright (BING) and Jimmy Gray (SYR), are no strangers to each other. Both we're members of the inaugural 2017-18 Bulldogs team, where they only played together for that season. Both Gray and Cartwright are graduates of Binghamton High School, Gray played collegiately at Binghamton University, and Cartwright played for Division III Buffalo State.
